Carrot Cake

2 c flour
2t baking powder
1 1/2 t baking soda
1t salt
2t cinnamon
2 c sugar
1 1/2 c oil
4 eggs
2 c grated carrots
1 8 oz can crushed pineapple drained
1/2 c nuts

Sift flour, powder, soda, salt & cinnamon.  Add sugar, eggs.  Mix well.  Add carrots, pineapple & nuts.  Add oil.

Bake in a greased 13 x 9 pan for 50 minutes at 350 degrees

Frosting


Mix 1 lb powder sugar with 1/2 butter, 8 ox cream cheese & 2 t vanilla.  Mix until smooth.  Frost cooled cake and serve


Note:  stick cream cheese is best
